Gavotte Ramdisk 常用中

impress でも取り上げてた、Gavotte Ramdisk 、あまりに便利なので完全に常用中。実際に体感しないとこの速さとそれで得られる便利さは判らないかもなんだけど、ベンチマークでも数字として明確に現れてくるんで参考までに。でも、やっぱ基本はメモリだから、CPUパワーとFSBに多分に影響を受けるってのも数字からわかっちゃうなー。

ちなみに、普通のHDDだとこんなもんです。striping array 組んでも、HDD 2 台くらいじゃ 150MB/s もでやしません。5GB/s が如何に速いかがわかります(`･ω･´)
